I invited Tim Storey to speak to the students of the high school I administer. He spoke to them for a little over an hour, with a positive reaction from the students the whole time. I had my teachers ask their students what they thought and to measure any affect his presentation might have had on the students. The majority responded that they enjoyed the assembly and many shared insights they gained from Tim Storey.
In general, my students seemed more optimistic in the weeks following Tim Storey’s visit and several teachers indicated a slight, though noticeable improvement in student performance. I never expected Tim Storey to be such an effective motivator, even thought I had a lot about him.
I think it is great that Tim Storey was able to come a speak to your high school students! I have realized that after people hear Tim Storey's sermons, they are uplifted and are more positive about.. well.. life!! I wish that every high school got the opportunity to hear Tim Storey speak!
ReplyDeleteI agree!!! There are so many kids who could learn so much from Tim Storey and his amazing words! So many kids are lost, trying to find their way, and Tim could really help them get out of the rut they are stuck in and become so much more! Any administrator who reads this should definitely look into booking Tim to come to their school, especially if they are with a school where gangs and drugs are taking over.
